Packer Saloon and Cannibal Grill in Lake City

Loved it. Came back three times during a backpacking trip while we were in town for resupplies. Great food, decent beer selection. Nice outdoor seating and bar.

Iceberg lettuce is a necessary in food service.. ONLY ROMAINE on everything doesn't cut it... On burgers or salads. So, just a 75 on menu. Good service

Lake city is an awesome little town so many things to see and do, lots of great places to eat and shop.

If you're not from here bring oxygen! The air is a little thin for lowlanders. Great views. America is without a doubt, the most beautiful country.

Pizza was very good although the crust could have been cooked a bit more. Wait staff was excellent.

Food was good. Outdoor seating was well covered and they have a great outdoor fire pit with chairs around it. I'd go back!

This is the place in Lake City to go for drinks and a meal. The Staff and owner were very friendly and personable. Highly recommended.

Outside seating and they did a great job keeping everyone away from each other and were very careful in handling as far as I could see. We always eat there when we come for a summer visit and the service is always great. I highly recommend the French dip. It's my favorite

This place has an amazing atmosphere in their outdoor dining section complete with a fire pit and a fooseball table. The food is a little expensive but definitely worth it. The wait staff is extremely attentive and helpful and everyone is there to help you. The French fries were not good so I’d recommend a different side but the other food more than made up for it!

Nice decor. Food was late and my BLT had been reheated (boo). Others in our group liked the food.

Wonderful friendly staff. Everyone asks you if you need anything not just the person who took your order. Wonderful way to to business. Love the food. My favorite place to eat. My husband and I will definitely be back

Had an interesting experience here half really bad and half pretty good. Don't order the blt (blandest I've ever had) but the burger and fries is good. Also, there is dog seating but be wearing of wait times for it.

We have been to this place before and liked it, but this time the staff helped themselves to a tip in excess of what we authorized (we authoried about 24%) they then added another 3.00 to a 15.00 lunch!! When I called they processed a refund but didn't even what to know the specifics of the check so they could talk to the person that did this. This left me with the impression that this sort of thing was on purpose and they got caught. WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS!!

food was very very good. came out quick. server was very attentive and polite. the internet went down so we could only pay cash or check but they worked with us and made the process simple and easy. I got the veggies pizza and for 12 or so dollars it was incredible!

Great atmosphere, okay food

I'm writing this as we sit here waiting on our food. Seating is 95% outside which is fine and the view is great, our waiter on the other hand would rather be anywhere else but here serving us. Every time he brings something he slams it down on the table. He's wearing gloves and a mask of course but I just watched him run his gloved hands through his hair. The food has got to be good for this many great reviews, or maybe we got the one bad waiter.. food was okay but they charged me .50 cents for condiments...

A perfect mountain town spot. Nice outdoor seating area, most tables have shade coverings. Great food. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are fantastic and the big, chunky fries are fresh and tasty. Pizza is good too... the sauce is unique and has a sweet kick to it. We love this place and eat here multiple times when we come to LC.

I wouldn't go back here. Seems to be popular but I don't know why. Ordered pork tenderloin and it was expensive. The portion was so small, I went elsewhere and bought more to eat. Not only that but my original seating was at a counter that was chin high with the stool provided. I declined the seat and waited for a table.

Food was delicious however it took 3 tries to get our pizza correct. Our waiter talked so fast no one could understand him, he blamed the kitchen for the pizza mistake and the kitchen said he put the order in wrong. 2 times they bought out the wrong pizza so after 2nd time another waitress come and i very slowly told her what we wanted on our pizza. 3rd time it was right and very good. We were not charged for that. Also bathroom needed to be cleaned and toilet seat replaced.

Great staff.Went with friends on a recommendation. So worth it. We had a French dip, a Ruben & burgars & it was all really good. Our waitress was amazing.

Great food and atmosphere!

Nice casual friendly place. Tried to order steaks two days in a row, they were out so ordered duck instead. They are really the only restaurant after 8pm in September. Southern vittles close around 8pm.

One of the best places in Lake City. Service is fantastic... they use tablets when you order, so it goes straight to the kitchen! Great bar with tons of Colorado beers to try. When the weather permits, their outdoor seating is wonderful, and pet-friendly, too!

Great foods, not my taste but an interesting story behind on Packer as cannibal man, should check it out, was scary to get a burger 😅

We’ve come here almost every summer the past few years. The outside seating area is fun and festive. I wish there was more space around the fire pit area. The drinks are good and generous. Food is pretty good too.

They were able to accommodate a group of 20 right at lunch time. Good food and service. Outside seating is dog friendly. A plus for our group.

Chose place because they allowed dogs on patio. Unfortunately they had only 3 tables for dogs.☹️ And they put people without dogs at those tables. 😡 We had to wait an hour (with our dogs) to be seated, then 50 minutes for food. The iced tea was good. Doubt I’ll be back.

The service is on point. We had the German smoke braut, and the chicken Sammy was great. Cold beer and great setting. Come back every year when we are in this part of Colorado. Good eats!
